Doctors returning to Canada!

I just finished reading this article. Well I think it's great that more doctors are returning to Canada, meaning more Canadians will have access to the health care they need, I see potential problems in the future.

Within the last few years more and more Canadians have gone to Med school after completing a BA. Many doing so with the assumption that they would have a guaranteed job when they finished school. But, what's going to happen if doctors who had left Canada for 'greener pastures' continue to return, and the numbers of students graduating from medical school continue to increase, or at least remain steady? Granted, we still don't have enough doctors in Canada. But, at some point I see this process coming full circle. This may turn into a cyclical process where doctors leave Canada for better pay, benefits, standard of living, etc., but eventually return making it harder for new graduates to find jobs. These 'new' doctors may then be forced to leave the country to secure a job.

There's a problem here somewhere within the government that needs to be addressed. We need to think about why our health care system was formulated in such a way as to drive doctors from our country in the first place.
